Cancellation Policy

Please read our cancellation policy carefully before booking. Different packages may have different cancellation terms.

1. Cancellation by Customer

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as early as possible. The refund amount depends on the time of cancellation relative to the travel date.

Standard Cancellation Charges

All refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after cancellation confirmation. Bank transaction charges will be deducted.

2. Cancellation by Friends Travels

In rare circumstances, Friends Travels may need to cancel a tour. Reasons may include:

  • Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions.
  • Political instability or civil unrest.
  • Insufficient bookings to operate the tour.
  • Technical or operational issues.
  • Government restrictions or travel bans.

In such cases, you will have the following options:

  • Full Refund: 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
  • Alternative Tour: You can choose an alternative tour of the same value.
  • Voucher: A travel credit voucher valid for 12 months.

3. Flight and Hotel Cancellations

Flights and hotels booked as part of your package may have their own cancellation policies. Friends Travels will assist with cancellation, but any cancellation fees imposed by airlines or hotels will be passed on to the customer.

  • Airline cancellation fees are determined by the airline's policy.
  • Hotel cancellation fees depend on the hotel's terms.
  • Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled or changed.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events, including:

  • Medical emergencies.
  • Flight cancellations or delays.
  • Baggage loss.
  • Personal liability.

Travel insurance can cover cancellation fees in certain circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies).

5. How to Cancel Your Booking

Please have your booking ID ready when requesting cancellation.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days from cancellation confirmation.
  • Refunds will be made through the original payment method.
  • Bank transaction charges (if any) will be deducted from the refund.
  • For international payments, currency conversion charges may apply.
  • Please allow 10-15 business days for international refunds.

7. Amendments and Modifications

  • Change of Date: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Change of Destination: Subject to availability and price difference.
  • Change of Customer Name: May be allowed with appropriate documentation.
  • Group Size Reduction: May result in revised pricing.

8. Special Circumstances

In cases of medical emergencies, death of a family member, or other serious unforeseen circumstances, Friends Travels may consider special cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis. Please provide supporting documentation.

9. Group Bookings

For group bookings (10+ persons), separate cancellation terms apply. Please refer to your group booking contract or contact our team for details.
